Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist - Allocation Assist Middle East - Dubai, UAE

• Deliver advanced pediatric cardiac intensive care for neonates, infants, and children with congenital and acquired heart diseases
• Stabilize pediatric cardiac patients prior to surgery and provide specialized post-operative care following congenital heart procedures
• Manage complex pediatric cardiac conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and complex congenital heart disorders
• Provide care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures and high-risk cardiac interventions
• Utilize advanced critical care technologies including ECMO, mechanical ventilation, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Lead multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac ICU rounds and coordinate individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients
• Interpret diagnostic findings including echocardiography, hemodynamic studies, and advanced cardiac imaging
• Provide emergency on-call coverage for pediatric cardiac ICU cases and cardiac emergencies
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of pediatric cardiac ICU services and clinical protocols
• Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and specialized nursing teams
• Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and critical care nursing staff in pediatric cardiac care
• Communicate complex medical information with patients' families while supporting shared decision-making and long-term care planning
• Participate in clinical research initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects within pediatric cardiac intensive care

• Medical degree such as MD or MBBS from a recognized medical institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology, or Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care from an accredited training center
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of post-specialization clinical experience including consultant-level practice in a pediatric cardiac ICU environment
• Proven expertise in ECMO management, congenital heart disease care, and post-operative cardiac ICU management
• Eligibility for consultant-level medical licensing within the UAE healthcare regulatory framework
• Strong leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Fluency in English with Arabic language skills considered beneficial
