- Working closely with the Studio Director and design team to develop urban planning and landscaping solution for various types of projects.
- Develop, collaborate and present design concepts, ideas, and proposals to clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Conduct site visits, analyze sites, and develop design solutions that address site-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Develop detailed landscape drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and other project stakeholders during the design and construction phases to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Inspire and promote collaboration across disciplines to spark innovation, motivate talent and support design experimentation across the office.
- Support project sustainability targets throughout project phases and actively engage in delivering them.
- Study sustainable design strategies in every project stage and investigate solutions to sustainable design challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the team to optimize sustainability performance through design iterations and research.
- Engage in climate focused analysis and studies for each project.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant architectural experience, with 3+ years of recent landscape experience.
- Strong design skills and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable design solutions.
- Experienced in using Revit, and have solid 3D computer skills in Sketch-up, Rhino, or 3D Max. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with LandFX is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Good understanding of local and international design standards and requirements
- High level of verbal, written and graphic communication skills including freehand sketching and variety of computer aided mediums.
- Knowledge in sustainable design principles required.
- LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA or other rating systems accreditation preferable.
- Previous experience in sustainable design projects preferable. Especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel and /or Net Zero Building certification.
- Demonstrate a collaborative and integrated approach towards achieving high sustainability project goals.
- Good working knowledge and experience in Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, data extracts and project delivery.
- Good working knowledge and experience in Rhinoceros for design authoring.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with interoperability workflows between various design tools such as, Revit, Rhino, etc
- Good knowledge and experience with real-time rendering processes, and material creation & management within the context of integrated BIM and parametric workflows.
- Basic understanding of the setting up of new models.
- Basic understanding of the principles of multi-model collaboration.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with Computational Design applications such as Grasshopper and/or Dynamo.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with simulation principles and processes, including interpretation, and application of results.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with the use of VR walkthroughs and panoramas.
- Good knowledge and experience with interoperability workflows between Rhino & Revit throughout all the stages of a project.
