Job Title: QHSE Engineer (Rotating Equipment Services)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Office-based with site/workshop visits) Sector: Oil & Gas / Energy / Industrial Services Reporting To: Operations ManagerThe OpportunityOur client is a leading international industrial group specializing in the service, maintenance, and refurbishment of rotating equipment. They are seeking an experienced QHSE Engineer to lead Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment activities across field service, workshop, and project operations.This role requires a "hands-on" professional who can manage compliance with ADNOC/DEWA standards while actively performing technical quality inspections (NDT) on critical machinery.Key Responsibilities1. Quality Management (Q)Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001.Prepare ITPs, QA/QC plans, and method statements for rotating equipment overhauls and repairs.Technical Inspection: Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspections on turbine/compressor components.Manage non-conformities, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.Conduct internal and supplier audits.2. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC/DEWA HSE requirements and UAE laws.Develop and enforce HSE policies, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).Lead incident investigations and promote a strong safety culture in the workshop and on-site.Manage environmental controls (waste management, spill prevention) per ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.3. Compliance & Operations SupportLiaise with client QHSE representatives during audits and inspections.Support tendering activities by providing QHSE compliance documentation.Maintain all HSE records, statistics, and dashboard reporting.Authority to stop unsafe work and non-compliant activities.Candidate RequirementsExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Science.Minimum 8–15 years of QHSE experience, specifically within Oil & Gas, Power, or Rotating Equipment services.Mandatory: Proven experience working on ADNOC-regulated sites in the UAE.Certifications (Must Have)NDT Level 2 Certification (VT, MT, PT, UT) – This is mandatory.NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) is highly preferred.Technical SkillsHands-on experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.Strong ability to prepare technical method statements and ITPs.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
