Responsibilities will include designing and optimizing backend systems, ensuring security, scalability, and seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services. The role will also contribute to AI-powered application development, working closely with product and AI teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.In addition, this role will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that power front-end functionality along with managing and optimizing database structures, write efficient queries, ensure data integrity, as well as security throughout the system. A key part of this role will involve implementing secure authentication, authorization, and encryption measures. This role will collaborate closely with front-end developers and DevOps teams to deliver smooth deployments, troubleshoot and refine backend processes to improve performance, and integrate external services for reliable data exchange.About YouThe successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in backend development and a solid track record of delivering well-built B2C products. Candidate should be confident in solving complex problems, thinking critically, and explaining technical concepts in a way that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand. Collaboration is key, so the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. Strong database management skills are expected, and experience using modern tools and technologies to improve efficiency will be highly regarded.The ideal candidate should be proficient in server-side languages such as Python and familiar with database technologies like MySQL and MongoDB. Experience with version control systems such as Git, CI/CD principles, and Agile methodologies is essential.
