The Data Scientist position is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and analytics solutions, leveraging SAS EG, Python, Dataiku, and Databricks to support strategic business objectives and data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities using advanced machine learning techniques
- Manage the full analytics lifecycle from data preparation and modelling to deployment and performance monitoring
- Apply advanced statistical, predictive, and machine learning models to build and enhance decision systems
- Design experiments and test business hypotheses to support strategic initiatives
- Champion the adoption of machine learning technologies and methodologies across business operations
- Integrate SAS-based analytics and Python solutions into existing and future platforms
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize deployed models to ensure sustained business value
- Develop innovative analytics-driven solutions to complex business problems
- Communicate analytical insights, methodologies, and outcomes to technical and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS EG 8.3 or above and SAS Viya
- Advanced programming experience in SAS Base and SAS EMiner
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Python
- Proven experience working with Dataiku platform in production environments
- Experience with Azure Databricks and AWS is an advantage
- Deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modelling, data mining, and artificial intelligence techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills aligned with business objectives
- SAS and Dataiku certifications are an advantage
