Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Consultant or Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. This role involves delivering comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life.The Consultant or Specialist will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care, applying advanced pain management techniques and interventional procedures. In addition, the role includes patient education, clinical research participation, and the maintenance of detailed medical records.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients with pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans including pharmacologic, physical, and interventional therapies.
  • Perform interventional pain management procedures such as nerve blocks and spinal injections.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle strategies.
  • Participate in research and initiatives aimed at advancing pain medicine practices.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license to practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Pain Medicine or related clinical practice.
  • Proficiency in interventional pain management techniques.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in Pain Medicine.
