The Civil Inspector - Dubai, UAE will support Parsons Corporation by conducting on-site inspections and ensuring that all infrastructure and utilities works comply with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. - Carry out continuous inspection of infrastructure and utility works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Report workmanship deficiencies and non-conformance issues to the ARE/RE
- Maintain a detailed daily diary recording activities, manpower, equipment, and inspection results
- Coordinate with contractor's site engineers to provide guidance on proper work execution
- Arrange and witness sampling and testing of materials, ensuring quality assurance standards are met
- Collaborate with surveyors to check alignment, levels, and completed works
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and ensure construction activities follow best practices
- Process inspection requests and maintain accurate status records
- Participate actively in health and safety compliance and site safety inspections
- Professionally interface with stakeholders and the public to mitigate construction impacts
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering
- Minimum 7 years' experience in road and infrastructure construction supervision, including wet and dry utilities projects
- Ability to interpret shop drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Strong computer literacy with experience in engineering and inspection reporting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively in project teams
- Previous experience in UAE or GCC infrastructure projects preferred
