- Develop and maintain secure, scalable API integrations between business-critical platforms
- Handle webhook processing, backend logic, and asynchronous job execution
- Manage API authentication (OAuth 2.0, API Keys), pagination, error handling, and data validation
- Create reusable modules and internal APIs to support business logic and automation workflows
- Connect to external data sources via APIs to retrieve and structure data for business reporting
- Integrate with analytics and marketing platforms (e.g., reporting APIs, tracking tags, user events)
- Build lightweight services that support live dashboards and performance tracking
- Collaborate with analysts to enable real-time and historical reporting
- Assist in the development of ETL/ELT pipelines for cloud data warehouses
- Prepare and structure data from APIs to align with internal warehouse schemas
- Monitor and test data flows to ensure integrity, performance, and accuracy
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain internal knowledge bases
- Perform integration and regression testing for new or updated services
- Monitor system health and log errors with appropriate alerting and retry logic
- Proficient in Python or for backend and integration development
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and standard data formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient in SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data
- Experience integrating with cloud-based systems and tools via public APIs
- Familiar with analytics and marketing APIs (reporting, tracking, tagging, etc.)
- Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and basic data warehousing structures
- Knowledge of Google APIs (Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, etc.) is a plus
- Strong Git version control experience
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to translate operational needs into structured technical solutions
- Experience with serverless platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions)
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Big Query, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Exposure to low-code integration platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n)
- Understanding of privacy laws and secure data handling practices (GDPR, data residency, etc.)
