- To aggregate the demand plan across product categories and Business units, producing a rolling estimate of unconstrained future demand in units.
- Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making.
- Manage, modify and adapt the master production plan due to engineering changes and material shortages.
- Prepare data and material for monthly Demand and Operations planning meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the planning horizon.
- Serves as primary point of contact for and liaison with Program, engineering, SCM and Manufacturing department.
- Ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is aligned and provided real time data for demand fulfilment. To be able to use SAP APO/IBP for demand planning.
- Ensure Business units are aligned with the master production plan to ensure accurate material resource planning (MRP).
- Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics; Distribution to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity and external factors and to create mitigation actions if needed.
- Analyse and provide insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization.
- Compile monthly KPI's through metrics and system data from various departments.
- Experience: 12-15 years in demand planning and scheduling multiple projects with a strong SAP background.
- Education: Master's Degree (Preferred) but Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Required)
- Skills: Advanced Planning and Organization, Time and Process Management, Problem-Solving Abilities/Troubleshooting.
- Systems: Expertise in MRP and ERP systems.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Preferred: 10+ years of industry-specific and regional specific experience in project planning and scheduling expertise.
