Job Summary:
A vital part of our restaurant team, the Waiter/Server is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to guests. From greeting customers to ensuring satisfaction with meals and drinks, this role plays a key role in creating a positive dining experience.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
- Accurately take customer orders and input them into the point of sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction with meals and drinks.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Process payments and make change accurately.
- Keep tables clean and tidy, resetting them for the next customers.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Upsell menu items or promote specials to increase revenue.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures, including proper food handling and storage.
- Act as a Section Leader, coordinating activities within your assigned section for seamless service.
- 2+ years of experience in waitressing is required.
- Restaurant experience is Mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- No specific educational requirements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift and carry trays or items as needed for the role.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
