Senior Quantity Surveyor job opportunity for Quantity Surveyors with previous Middle East experience to join an established main contractor in Abu Dhabi to work on data centre projects.The employer covers a multitude of busy sectors including, residential, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, education, and others.This role is suitable for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with some Middle East experience already.Project DetailsAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work as part of a busy team effectively managing all the costs relating to building and civil engineering & Infrastructure projects. You will be based at the employer's office in Abu Dhabi and on-site on various large-scale construction projects.Successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, along with excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and contract administration skills.Responsibilities and Duties

Interim payment applications in accordance with the terms of the contract and actual work progress.
Preparing and compiling variation claim documents
Cost reporting, controlling & monitoring, Budget updating.
Project Cash flow and periodic assessments of anticipated final cost and reporting.
Preparing KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports, to monitor Budget Cost
Prepare & Compile Final Accounts Payment applications
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Attendance and representation at commercial meetings
Control project scope to meet project objectives to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
Monitor and control costs throughout the project

Desired Skills and Experience

Stable experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a top-tier main contractor or a subcontractor.
Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the Middle East
Knowledge of pre- and post-contract administration.
Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, drawings and specifications.
Candidates must have strong client-facing skills
Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
Strong communication skills as well as excellent verbal and written English
Strong analytical capabilities

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar equivalent.
RICS or other equivalent professional body membership would be preferred.
