The Network and Security Engineer position is responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing secure network and cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Fortinet, Palo Alto, Azure networking, and enterprise security frameworks. The role ensures high availability, compliance, and robust protection against evolving cyber threats.Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise network and security solutions using next-generation firewalls and security platforms
- Lead implementation of network security architecture using Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies
- Architect and manage Azure networking components and native security controls
- Design and implement security solutions including HSM, PAM, SD-WAN, encryption, and proxy services
- Design and deploy load balancing solutions using F5 or AVI at both L4 and L7 levels
- Develop comprehensive High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documentation
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement Zero Trust security architecture principles
- Design and integrate SIEM, SOC, SOAR, EDR, and XDR solutions
- Support incident response activities and security operations when required
- Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and support mitigation planning
- Minimum 12 years experience in network and security architecture roles
- Proven experience working with system integrators or OEM environments
- Deep hands-on expertise with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall platforms
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking and security services
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, and Azure solutions
- Proven experience implementing enterprise security tools such as HSM, PAM, SD-WAN, encryption, and proxy solutions
- Expert knowledge of security compliance frameworks including UAE-based regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of international standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and NIST
- Fortigate and Palo Alto firewall design and implementation
- Azure network and security architecture design and deployment
- F5 or AVI load balancer configuration and optimization
- Infrastructure as Code tools and automation frameworks
- Scripting for configuration automation and operational data extraction
- CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- CCNP Security or equivalent
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
- Fortinet NSE 7 or higher
- F5 Certified Solution Expert
- Azure Security Engineer
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical documentation and design writing abilities
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Project leadership and coordination experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites
- Availability to work outside standard business hours when required
