- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and policies for construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, local regulations, and international HSE guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are effectively implemented.
- Supervise site HSE officers and provide guidance on safety practices.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, confined space entry, and hot work.
- Implement and manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure site preparedness.
- Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and documentation for management and clients.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of fifteen (15 -20) years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in in GCC region.
- Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Middle East/ADNOC project experience is highly desirable.
- NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and work in a dynamic site environment.
