Senior HSE Engineer - Construction

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and policies for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, local regulations, and international HSE guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are effectively implemented.
• Supervise site HSE officers and provide guidance on safety practices.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, confined space entry, and hot work.
• Implement and manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure site preparedness.
• Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and documentation for management and clients.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of fifteen (15 -20) years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in in GCC region.
• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Middle East/ADNOC project experience is highly desirable.
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and work in a dynamic site environment.
