The position contributes directly to surgical excellence, multidisciplinary coordination, and the advancement of specialized ophthalmic services.Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal surgeries, including intricate reconstructive procedures
- Manage trauma-related cases, periocular tumors, and post-oncologic reconstruction pathways
- Deliver aesthetic services such as blepharoplasty, injectables, and minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques
- Work closely with dermatology, oncology, and maxillofacial teams to ensure integrated patient care
- Participate in clinical governance initiatives, audits, and service quality improvements
- Support knowledge sharing through mentoring and departmental training activities
- Tier 1 qualification such as American Board, UK CCT, Canadian Fellowship, or equivalent
- Fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic periocular procedures
- Eligibility for DOH Abu Dhabi licensure
- Strong clinical judgment with attention to surgical detail
- Patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
