We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in Dubai. This pivotal role involves spearheading our market penetration and client acquisition efforts for light cargo transportation services (3-ton capacity),leveraging our state-of-the-art, newly acquired fleet. This presents a unique opportunity to directly influence the strategic direction and financial performance of our sales and business development division.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies designed to achieve ambitious growth targets for our light cargo transportation services.
  • Cultivating and expanding a robust client portfolio across critical sectors, including but not limited to e-commerce, import/export, manufacturing facilities, warehousing operations, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and customs clearance agencies.
  • Capitalizing on your established and extensive professional network to forge new commercial partnerships and establish immediate revenue channels.
  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, converting them into profitable long-term contracts.
  • Managing the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation and client engagement to sophisticated negotiation and successful deal closure.
  • Delivering compelling and value-driven presentations articulating the unique benefits of our logistics services to prospective clients.
  • Collaborating synergistically with the operations team to ensure the consistent delivery of superior customer service, thereby exceeding client expectations.
  • Conducting continuous market analysis and competitive intelligence to discern emerging trends, capitalize on growth opportunities, and sustain our competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development within the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries specifically within the UAE market.
  • A demonstrable and verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • An extensive and robust client network within the aforementioned target sectors (e-commerce, import/export, manufacturing, warehousing, 3PL, customs clearance, etc.).
  • Possession of a ready-to-convert client base is highly advantageous and will facilitate immediate operational impact.
  • Profound understanding of the operational dynamics and commercial landscape of the light cargo (3-ton) transportation market in Dubai.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation proficiencies in English (multilingual capability is considered a distinct asset).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and effectively, coupled with strong initiative and a relentless focus on achieving measurable results.
  • A proven aptitude for market analysis and identifying nascent business prospects.
