- Provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU from admission through discharge
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and lab results, to guide treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress closely and respond promptly to any changes in condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure integrated, high-quality care
- Educate and counsel parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and infant development milestones
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient medical records
- Apply evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in neonatal medicine
- Participate in hospital quality improvement programs and adhere to safety protocols
- Mentor junior doctors and nursing staff, fostering continuous learning and professional growth
- Medical degree with board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consultant NICU or Neonatologist in a reputable healthcare facility
- Western-trained or equivalent international experience highly preferred
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced clinical environment
