Our presence in the Middle East is anchored by our contribution to large-scale infrastructure and transport projects across the GCC.We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for the following roles as part of a confidential metro rolling stock consultancy bid project in Dubai. All positions are full-time, UAE-based, and require strong GCC experience, with preference given to candidates with RTA project exposure.About the Role: The Contracts / Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing all contractual, financial, and commercial aspects of the project in line with FIDIC principles, client expectations, and Surbana Jurong’s governance. This role plays a key part in risk management, claims strategy, and cost controls.Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate consultancy and subcontract agreements
Manage commercial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Administer claims, variations, and contractual correspondence
Ensure compliance with RTA and UAE contractual requirements
Collaborate with legal, technical, and procurement teams to mitigate risk and ensure project profitability

Requirements:

MSc/BSc in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Commercial Management
Minimum 15 years’ experience in contracts and commercial roles on metro or infrastructure projects
In-depth understanding of FIDIC forms of contract, RTA contract frameworks, and GCC regulations
Excellent negotiation, contract drafting, and cost control skills
Experience in leading commercial functions for complex, multidisciplinary projects
