- Ensuring that HSE policies and practices are established and continually improved in all areas of the company, including all occupational sites and during field operations.
- Conducting and reporting investigations into incidents to identify causes and contributing factors to prevent re-occurrence.
- Identifying potential site safety hazards, implementing safety measures, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Review of Contractor safety Policies, project safety documentation and safety campaigns.
- Ensure that Contractor personnel are adequately trained in HSE HSEQ topics such as fire safety, first aid, workplace HSE practices etc.
- Proactive HSE measures include effective risk assessments, preparing and implementing HSE plans and HSE inspections.
- Preparing and reporting HSE performance based on HSE management plan.
- Logging: organizing records of inspections documents such as issued Release Notes, Non-Conformances Reports and Quality Memorandum according to Projects, Vendors and Purchase Orders.
- Ensure implementation of Safety Rules and Procedures by Company and Contractor employees on site
- Assist in implementing specific activities and Programs under the Company's Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS)
- Assist in maintaining critical safety equipment (fire-fighting, breathing apparatus, rescue operation equipment etc.) and implement the replacement plans effectively.
- Conduct HSE Engagement tours on projects sites.
- Submit to Team Leader Safety & Health (LNG/ASR) the HSE Spotlights I Flashes I LFI whenever required.
- Conduct the daily HSEO categorization and analysis and ensure that the HIPO HSEO are followed up for close out.
- Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements, if witnessed, and report the incident - regardless of your position or that of the transgressor
- Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or Equivalent with an Accredited HSE Certification or Diploma
- Accredited Safety/HSE Diploma (NEBOSH etc).
- Valid UAE Driving Licence
- Miminum 6 - 8 years of experience in HSE in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry
