The Associate Director plays a central role in coordinating client activities, ensuring strong service delivery, and contributing to the bank's strategic objectives through effective relationship management and financial oversight.Key Responsibilities
- Support senior relationship managers in managing and expanding financial institution client portfolios
- Act as a primary contact for clients on operational and service-related matters
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across banking products in collaboration with internal teams
- Assist in originating and executing business opportunities across lending, treasury, and transaction banking
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, term sheets, and internal approval documentation
- Conduct financial analysis, credit reviews, and ongoing monitoring of client exposures
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage documentation, conditions precedent, and post-approval processes
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and sector dynamics affecting clients
- Identify risks and opportunities within assigned portfolios and recommend appropriate actions
- Coordinate with product, credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams for seamless delivery
- Support internal reporting, pipeline tracking, and management information processes
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure adherence to governance and control standards
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 6 to 9 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or financial institutions coverage
- Strong understanding of banking products, credit processes, and client portfolio management
- Experience within Financial Institutions Group environments is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
