- Contribute to the implementation and testing of internal controls to ensure process continuity and effectiveness.
- Provide necessary amendment/changes to the ERP system to implement tax related codes and files.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Assist in audits and inquiries from tax authorities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare update on local/master file for the companies registered with corporate tax.
- Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and implement effective tax strategies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting principles and organizational guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify tax implications of business decisions and provide recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of tax-related transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities and auditors.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide support on tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance requirements.
- Assess and mitigate tax-related risks to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to internal processes and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to internal teams on tax-related issues and compliance requirements.
- Develop tax filing and reporting procedure and process document and provide necessary knowledge to other staff to ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent are an advantage.
- Minimum of [4] years of experience in tax accounting or related field, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge and training of UAE Federal Tax Authority, Rules, Regulations and amendments.
