The Accountant - Dubai, UAE will provide financial support across multiple areas including ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and reporting. The role requires strong technical skills in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English.Core Duties
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Support inventory management from a finance perspective
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Maintain accurate tax records and assist with compliance requirements
- Support audit preparation and provide required documentation
- Communicate financial updates and reporting to stakeholders
- 4-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in finance or technology sectors
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Ability to work with payroll, inventory, and reconciliation processes
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems is an advantage
- Professional accounting qualification is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
