Automotive Procurement Category Lead Strategic Sourcing - Al-Futtaim - Dubai UAE

• Develop and implement category strategies covering both direct and indirect automotive procurement spend
• Conduct strategic sourcing analysis including total cost of ownership assessments, should cost modeling, and value chain evaluation
• Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
• Plan and manage procurement initiatives with defined timelines, performance targets, and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with operational and business priorities
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and establish preferred supplier networks to enhance supply efficiency
• Lead the source to contract procurement process including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve delivery performance, quality standards, and service responsiveness
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement plans when necessary
• Facilitate cross functional stakeholder committees to strengthen procurement governance and collaboration
• Drive talent development initiatives within procurement teams including structured development plans and performance management

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or related field
• Master's degree or CIPS qualification preferred
• Seven to ten years of procurement experience with strong exposure to automotive category management
• Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier lifecycle processes
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead procurement transformation initiatives
