This role is responsible for strengthening internal controls and governance by executing audit plans, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance across business functions. It contributes to improving operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and transparency through structured audit activities and reporting.Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal audit assignments in line with approved audit plans and methodologies
- Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and reports based on findings
- Identify risks, assess internal controls, and evaluate process effectiveness
- Follow up with management on action plans and outstanding audit issues
- Use data analysis tools to support audit testing and reporting
- Participate in advisory projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain communication with audit clients and escalate key findings when required
- Ensure adherence to audit standards, policies, and internal procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management
- Working towards or partially certified in audit-related qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment
