Senior Structural Inspector - AECOM Middle East - Dubai, UAE

• Review and stay familiar with contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements
• Ensure contractor compliance with contractual standards and approved technical specifications
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor manpower and equipment resources
• Carry out site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Structural Engineer
• Liaise daily with contractors to monitor resource allocation, safety practices, and equipment usage
• Prepare daily reports covering work orders, material deliveries, and inspection activities
• Follow up and implement site instructions issued by the Resident Engineer or Structural Engineer
• Apply and enforce all site quality control and quality assurance procedures
• Perform site measurements and surveying checks for bridge works and related structures
• Coordinate with client project managers during inspections alongside the engineering team
• Monitor contractor QA and QC activities and maintain supporting records
• Assist in preparation of correspondence and documentation in line with contract and site requirements
• Identify site issues and support prompt resolution with the engineering team
• Monitor start-up, commissioning, and handover activities and maintain milestone records
• Maintain records of material tests, inspection reports, and executed works
• Conduct audit inspections to verify conformity with contract documents and contractor submissions

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience on similar infrastructure or structural projects
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the UAE
• Experience in roads, bridges, and structural works supervision
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and site practices
• RTA approval is preferred
• Strong reporting, coordination, and site inspection skills
