We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with expertise in Trauma Surgery to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing critical surgical care to patients with traumatic injuries, ensuring timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Perform surgeries for trauma cases, from minor injuries to complex fractures and organ damage.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound management and medication plans.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
- Participate in continuing education and research to stay current with advancements in trauma care.
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in General Surgery with subspecialty in Trauma Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of consultant-level experience in trauma care.
- Western-trained education or equivalent.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Valid license to practice in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one.
