GEOTECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Category: Engineers - DMJob Description:Provide support for all geotechnical design works for tenders and projectsResponsibilities:

Assist in design and evaluation of tender proposal and/or project design
Assist line superiors in planning and conducting geotechnical investigation effectively
Analyse geotechnical data and preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Report (GIR)
Analyse geotechnical finding, perform appropriate calculation and prepare data reports to Manager
Assist in designing geotechnical drawings, components and specifications for construction projects
Assist with the design of structure, using specialised software or calculation
Assist with the development of suitable earthworks and foundations in project sites
Assist line superiors for the supervision of site and ground investigation
Review geotechnical design developed by third party consultants
Review construction design proposals and verify geotechnical aspects
Interact with customer and team members to complete the assigned projects on-time
Ensure correct design as pre QA/QC procedure and Standards
Promote and ensure compliance with organization's Health and Safety Policies

Qualifications:

Profound understanding about theoretical and practical and rock mechanics
High knowledge of geotechnical standards and guidelines Be able to manage and works with personnel with different cultural backgrounds
Motivate and inspire colleagues to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. Provide objective and Constructive feedback in an appropriate way
