About the job Business Development ManagerBusiness Development ManagerAbout the CompanyA well-established European manufacturer specializing in electrical wiring devices, smart home solutions, building automation systems, intercom, and security technologies, working closely with consultants, developers, and system integrators across high-end residential and commercial projects.Role OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, influence project specifications, and expand the company's presence across the UAE market.This role combines technical understanding and strong sales capability, with a focus on developing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and channel partners.Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and achieve annual targets within the assigned region
  • Influence project specifications and ensure company products are specified by consultants (Architects, Interior Designers, MEP)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Consultants
  • Contractors
  • Developers
  • System integrators and dealers
  • Generate new business opportunities through active pipeline development
  • Support and guide dealers, resellers, and system integrators to successfully convert opportunities
  • Follow up on high-value negotiations and complex projects
  • Participate in technical-commercial discussions, including:
  • BOQs
  • Submittals
  • Client presentations
  • Identify market opportunities and improve sales strategies
  • Ensure proper reporting and pipeline tracking
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of UAE-based project sales experience
  • Experience in one of the following sectors:
  • Home/building automation (KNX preferred)
  • Low current (ELV), intercom, CCTV
  • Electrical solutions or lighting control
  • Proven ability to influence specifications and work with consultants
  • Experience dealing with system integrators, dealers, and contractors
  • Strong pipeline generation and sales ownership
  • Ability to understand BOQs and technical documentation
  • UAE driving license and willingness to be field-based
Nice to Have
  • Engineering background (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics)
  • KNX certification or automation exposure
  • Existing consultant network in UAE
  • Experience in luxury or high-end projects
