  • Conduct detailed land and site surveys to determine locations of natural features, utilities and man-made structures above and below ground
  • Operate advanced electronic distance-measuring equipment and modern surveying instruments for accurate field data collection
  • Manage land information systems including data storage, retrieval, plotting and reporting
  • Review survey measurements including distances, directions, angles and elevations to ensure technical accuracy
  • Research legal documents and historical records to identify previous boundary lines and property limits
  • Analyze field data to establish boundary lines and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare survey reports, maps, drawings and contour plans for engineering and construction teams
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of survey data before submission to project stakeholders
  • Support multidisciplinary engineering teams on projects of diverse scope within infrastructure and buildings sectors
Ideal Profile
  • Proven experience in land surveying within infrastructure, buildings or civil engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of boundary determination, topographic surveys and legal land records
  • Proficiency in surveying instruments, total stations and land information systems
  • Ability to interpret drawings, plans and geospatial data accurately
  • Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on routine assignments
