- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for Ancora restaurant, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Support the Chef de Partie in managing the kitchen's daily operations, including food preparation and overseeing kitchen staff.
- Supervise a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and maintain an appealing and diverse menu.
- Ensure that all food items are prepared in a timely manner and meet the hotel's quality standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in managing inventory, ensuring minimal wastage and efficient use of ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Assist with special events, buffets, and other dining experiences as required.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in an ala carte restaurant.
- Culinary diploma or certification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
