Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Associate - Landscape Architect to join our dynamic Urbanism + Planning studio in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our landscape architecture practice, you will contribute to the design and execution of diverse projects that shape the urban and natural environments of the region.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee landscape design concepts for a variety of projects, including urban parks, residential communities, and commercial developments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering designs
  • Conduct site analyses and prepare detailed site plans, planting plans, and construction documents
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of landscape projects
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively
  • Stay updated on sustainable design practices and incorporate them into landscape projects
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture department
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and design standards in the UAE
  • Utilize advanced design software to create visually compelling and technically accurate landscape plans
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture
  • Professional certification such as ASLA or equivalent international recognition
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of successful landscape design projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS, Revit, or other relevant design tools
  • Excellent understanding of sustainable design practices and their application in arid climates
  • Familiarity with local flora, environmental conditions, and design regulations in the UAE
  • Proven project management skills, including budget control and timeline management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus
