HSE Engineer Infrastructure and Roads Projects - Parsons Corporation - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Support project teams in implementing site-specific safety, health, and environmental programs aligned with corporate safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and project safety requirements.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions to reduce or eliminate safety risks.
• Prepare detailed reports for safety audits, inspections, and field observations.
• Monitor construction operations to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health risk management programs.
• Assist in implementing incident reporting, investigation, and case management procedures.
• Maintain and update safety training records for project personnel in accordance with project safety policies.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings with site teams.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety regulations and approved safety procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on risk management and safety control measures during project execution.
• Support project leadership in maintaining a safe working environment across construction and infrastructure sites.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in health, safety, and environmental management for infrastructure or construction projects.
• Experience supporting roads, utilities, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of UAE safety regulations, reporting requirements, and local HSE legislation.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects in Al Ain or Abu Dhabi is advantageous.
• Strong ability to manage safety documentation, inspections, and compliance monitoring.

• Professional safety certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, ISO 45001 certification, or similar qualifications recognized in the UAE.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 safety and environmental management systems.
• Familiarity with incident reporting, safety auditing, and risk assessment processes.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating safety risks and recommending preventive actions.
• Ability to coordinate safety initiatives with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
