  • Deliver expert, round-the-clock care to critically ill pediatric patients admitted to the PICU
  • Manage complex medical and post-surgical cases using advanced life-support techniques
  • Perform and oversee advanced procedures including mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and monitoring plans
  • Collaborate closely with pediatricians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary clinical decision-making for high-acuity cases
  • Mentor, supervise, and train junior physicians, residents, and nursing staff
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with international PICU standards and clinical governance
  • Participate in clinical research, audits, and continuous professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation in line with hospital and DHA regulations
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialist training in Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine
  • Board certification such as UK CCT, Arab Board, American Board, Canadian Board, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-certification experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Strong expertise in advanced pediatric life-support technologies and critical care protocols
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage high-pressure clinical environments
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multicultural settings
  • DHA eligibility or licensure to practice in Dubai
