Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)📍 Dubai, UAE📅 Full-Time | Permanent🔎 Sourced by Redfish Solutions Ltd💼 Client: Leading International Consultancy (Confidential)Redfish Solutions Ltd is working in partnership with a highly regarded international consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) for a key role based in Dubai. This position offers the chance to join a forward-thinking, global consultancy delivering high-profile developments across the UAE and wider Middle East.As an MRICS-accredited professional, you will be expected to bring exceptional technical ability, a deep understanding of cost management across all project stages, and a strong grasp of international best practices in commercial delivery. You will act as a trusted advisor to the client, ensuring that value, compliance, and quality are upheld from pre-contract to final account.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the cost and commercial management of major construction projects across sectors such as mixed-use, hospitality, high-rise, or infrastructure
  • Develop detailed cost plans, procurement strategies, and tender documentation
  • Oversee contract administration (primarily under FIDIC) and manage change control, variations, and claims
  • Ensure cost control and reporting align with both client expectations and internal standards
  • Conduct value engineering and risk management activities where required
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain project timelines and budgets
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team
Qualifications & Experience:
  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – mandatory
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
  • 7–10+ years of relevant experience, with strong post-contract delivery
  • Proven track record in the UAE or wider GCC market, ideally within a consultancy
  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost management software (e.g., CostX, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
