Job Description:Our client, a leading provider of specialized logistics and transport services to the defense, oil & gas, and utilities sectors, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager (Arabic Speaker) to join their team.As the second-in-command, the Operations Manager will work closely with the business owner to oversee daily operations, manage high-profile client relationships, and support management reporting and strategic projects, including tender management.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and supervise daily transport and logistics operationsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, with a particular focus on defense, oil & gas, and utilities sectorsLead operational reporting, ensuring visibility on key metrics and service deliverySupport the preparation and execution of tenders and bidsDrive continuous improvement of processes and service standardsRequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • 10+ years of operations management experience in logistics, specialized transport, or industrial services
  • Strong understanding of the defense, oil & gas, and utilities markets in the UAE
  • Proven leadership and client management skills
  • Arabic and English fluency required
  • Must be currently based in the UAE
