- Responsible for Package Discipline Deliverables: mechanical data sheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluation, adequacy reports;
- Responsible for Vendor Document review as well as Vendor Management;
- Responsible for a Team of Package Equipment engineers;
- Responsible for schedule, quality, all contractual requirements and execution plan;
- Checking or approving technical recommendations;
- Managing and controlling man/hours;
- Responsible for proposing cost effective solutions;
- Coordinating with Lead Engineers of other departments, Project Management, Cost Estimation and project support functions such as procurement and planning;
- Ensuring that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with project QHSE plan and Client & discipline engineering processes & standards;
- Providing assistance to Discipline Department Manager in various departmental activities;
- Contributing to project close out and lessons learned.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- 12-18 years of minimum experience in Oil & Gas projects, Conceptual, FEED Detailed Engineering and EPC Projects;
- Vast experience preparing Mechanical Data Sheets, Mechanical Equipment Specifications, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations;
- Relevant exposure as Senior/Lead Package Equipment Engineer during all the duration/phases of the project;
- Sound experience with Chemical Injection Package, Nitrogen Generation, Air Compression, Air Dryer, Gas Dehydration Units, Gas Sweetening Units, Water treatment Plant, Electrochlorination Package, Cranes, Emergency Diesel generators;
- Able to read and understand a P&ID, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Process Description which will help to develop Package specifications and establish duty guarantees;
- Broad knowledge of International Standards, desired knowledge of Middle East Oil Companies Standards;
- Previous experience dealing with OEMs, Clients, PMC, Project Management, Auditors;
- Proven expertise in dealing and interacting with all the technical disciplines, procurement and construction teams;
- Ability to take decisions with minimum supervision;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence;
- Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations;
- Able to lead independently a group of Engineers and be a mentor of graduate engineers;
- Great written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent Negotiation skills;
