:The Data Analyst is a role dedicated to analyzing data and generating high-level reports to the Director General.Data Collection:Gather data from various sources, including field studies, databases, and reports received from operating company.Data Analysis and Interpretation:· Clean, organize, and analyze collected data to extract meaningful insights.· Use statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.Report Generation:· Prepare reports and presentations that communicate research findings and data analysis results.· Translate complex data into accessible and understandable formats.Collaboration and Communication:· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and researchers to integrate data findings into conservation strategies.· Communicate findings to colleagues, stakeholders, and the public through reports and presentations.Continuous Learning:· Stay updated on the latest research and developments in ornithology, ecology, and conservation science.· Attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.Data Management:· Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection regulations.· Maintain organized and accessible data repositories.Capacity Building:· Provide training and support to staff and volunteers in data collection and analysis techniques.· Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the Fund.RequirementsMinimum required Qualification: Bachelor's degree in ecology, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree is advantageous.Experience:· Proven experience in data collection, and analysis.· Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS)Strong analytical skills· Excellent communication skills· Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively.
