Perform continuous inspection of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
Conduct and witness civil and structural tests including soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, concrete slump, air entrainment, compressive strength testing, bolt torque checks, and concrete coring
Monitor underground utilities and piping works to verify alignment, bedding, grade, and tightness
Inspect piling works to ensure correct location, depth, and bearing capacity
Validate piping systems through P and ID verification and hydraulic or pressure testing
Inspect electrical installations to confirm proper grounding, circuit integrity, and compliance with statutory requirements
Monitor painting and insulation works to verify thickness, coverage, and continuity
Provide general inspection of construction labor and subcontracted activities to ensure acceptable workmanship
Verify equipment alignment and balancing activities
Assist in the preparation of quality control documentation and inspection reports
Participate in job safety practices and contribute to safety reporting and compliance
Administer welder qualification tests when required
Perform additional inspection-related duties as assigned by the supervision teamCandidate Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, highways, and utilities
Prior experience on infrastructure projects in the UAE is preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
