- Perform diagnostic procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies
- Coordinate with dietitians, radiologists, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment as needed, and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and their families about lifestyle adjustments and preventive care for digestive health
- Stay current with advances in gastroenterology by participating in CME programs and reading peer-reviewed literature
- Comply with medical ethics, legal requirements, and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Residency and fellowship completed in Gastroenterology
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Skilled in both outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care
- Proficient in using EMR systems and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
