- Conduct network, corridor, and intersection assessments including capacity, delay, queueing, and safety evaluations
- Develop traffic signal timing plans, phasing concepts, and coordination strategies
- Support adaptive signal control and active traffic management initiatives
- Prepare and review signing, pavement marking, lane-use, and channelization layouts in accordance with standards
- Perform pedestrian and vulnerable road user assessments, including crossing design and signal timing analysis
- Contribute to multimodal traffic management strategies integrating public transport and active mobility
- Evaluate ITS-based solutions including detection systems, CCTV, traveler information, and enforcement technologies
- Conduct operational traffic analyses using tools such as Synchro, SIDRA, HCS, or equivalent platforms
- Prepare technical reports, concept plans, guidelines, and specifications suitable for agency adoption
- Support development of traffic engineering standards, procedures, and operating manuals
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure buildable and compliant solutions
- Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to present findings and refine preferred alternatives
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in traffic engineering and urban transportation projects
- Experience working with public road agencies or metropolitan transportation authorities
- Strong understanding of signal operations, traffic control devices, and corridor performance optimization
- Familiarity with pedestrian, multimodal, and ITS integration strategies
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software and operational modeling tools
- Ability to manage assignments independently from analysis through recommendation
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
