Profile Middle East is a service provider with more than 20 years of experience in the market which specializes in Technical Field and HR Consultancy Services in the Industrial Sector (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning) with our focus on the Middle East region and a worldwide presence.We are currently selecting for PIPELINE ENGINEERRef code: CR_2403-000_Pipeline EngineerJob summaryMISSION:Responsible for responsible for overseeing the design, construction, maintenance, and integrity management of pipelines within the client's GOSP facilities.TASKS:
  • Designing and optimizing pipeline systems within Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSP) to ensure efficient and safe operations;
  • Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for pipeline projects, considering factors such as environmental impact, cost, and regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop pipeline design and specification, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards;
  • Overseeing the construction and installation of pipelines, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and project standards;
  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and lifespan of pipeline assets;
  • Conducting regular inspections and integrity assessments of pipelines, identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and mitigate risks;
  • Analyzing operational data and performance metrics to optimize pipeline efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to pipeline engineering and maintenance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred;
  • 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering and maintenance, with specific experience in Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP) operations;
  • Proficiency in Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations, including API, ASME, and ANSI codes;
  • Knowledge of industry software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or pipeline simulation software is a plus;
  • Fluent level of written and spoken English.

  • Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE;
  • Contract Duration: 6 months;
  • Starting date: May 2024.
2nd Phase: Site Inspection, Maintenance & Supervision
  • Job Location: Libya;
  • Contract Duration: 6 months;
  • Starting date: November 2024.
