- Designing and optimizing pipeline systems within Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSP) to ensure efficient and safe operations;
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for pipeline projects, considering factors such as environmental impact, cost, and regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop pipeline design and specification, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards;
- Overseeing the construction and installation of pipelines, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and project standards;
- Implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and lifespan of pipeline assets;
- Conducting regular inspections and integrity assessments of pipelines, identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and mitigate risks;
- Analyzing operational data and performance metrics to optimize pipeline efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to pipeline engineering and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred;
- 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering and maintenance, with specific experience in Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP) operations;
- Proficiency in Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations, including API, ASME, and ANSI codes;
- Knowledge of industry software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or pipeline simulation software is a plus;
- Fluent level of written and spoken English.
