Procurement and Logistics Manager - Dubai, UAE

• Develop systems and strategies to grow spare parts and service business in the port and mechanical handling sector
• Support the Director of Procurement and Logistics in commercial agreements, sourcing, and vendor management
• Build and manage supplier relationships, including pricing negotiations and credit line discussions
• Oversee procurement and logistics activities for all business units, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Manage agreements with key component suppliers and coordinate marketing actions to strengthen market position
• Expand WCS's market share in the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa in collaboration with service teams
• Supervise procurement staff, ensuring accurate reporting, documentation, and system adaptation for best practices
• Monitor customer satisfaction and improve service levels for external and internal stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to HSE compliance standards and DP World's Code of Conduct
• Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting company values and safe operations

• Minimum 12 years' experience in the Mechanical Handling or Port industry
• At least 10 years' expertise in procuring and selling spare parts in the global port sector
• 7+ years of complete supply chain and logistics experience
• Strong engineering background, preferably with HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Skilled in international business operations and commercial administration
• Excellent contract management, negotiation, and vendor relationship skills
• Strong documentation and report writing capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with IT systems, networks, and business system implementation
• Excellent English communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Confident decision-maker with proven leadership and team development skills
