Job DescriptionThe College of Information Technology (CIT) at UAE University is seeking to appoint a highly qualified faculty member specializing in Cybersecurity. This role will play a vital part in strengthening our existing research programs and launching new multidisciplinary research initiatives and partnerships, both within the university and with external organizations, to support the college’s long-term stability and growth. Position Overview: We invite exceptional candidates with a proven research background in Cybersecurity and related fields. The ideal candidate should exhibit expertise in innovative cybersecurity domains and be committed to advancing research and knowledge in this dynamic and rapidly evolving discipline. The successful applicant will be expected to enhance and expand upon the College’s current research strengths, as well as contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and graduate courses. Engaging and mentoring students across various academic programs will also be a key responsibility. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline from a reputable institution. In addition, applicants should demonstrate: • A strong record of publications in leading Q1 journals and top-tier conferences within the field • Proven success in writing and securing competitive research grants • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and supervising students at both undergraduate and graduate levels • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across various departments and interdisciplinary programs Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews.
