Job SummaryThe Manager – Chassis Assembly is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all chassis assembly operations within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily chassis assembly operations to meet production schedules and targetsEnsure adherence to quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulationsOptimize assembly processes using lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and reduce wasteMonitor KPIs such as cycle time, defect rates, and equipment efficiencyCoordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure availability of materials and componentsSupervise, train, and develop assembly line staff and team leadersIdentify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.)Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirementsPrepare reports on production performance and present to senior managementRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of chassis systems and automotive assembly processesLeadership and team management skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingKnowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsFamiliarity with ERP/MES systemsExcellent communication and coordination skillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering5–10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturingMinimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial roleCertifications in Lean / Six Sigma (preferred)
