Entity type: GovernmentJob Details:The Student Counsellor Consultant is responsible for providing professional psychological support, counselling services, and proactive wellbeing initiatives for students.The role also contributes to building a supportive campus culture through awareness, training, and outreach.Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology, Counselling, Mental Health, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of counselling experience, preferably in a university or youth-oriented setting.
- Certification or licensure to practice counselling/psychology in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in individual counselling, group therapy, and mental health education.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and crisis management skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse student populations.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus
