Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure that the company adheres to all regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly steel or related industries, along with relevant audit certifications.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and internal policies
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and procedures
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submissions
  • Provide training and awareness to staff on compliance and regulatory matters
  • Monitor changes in laws/regulations and update internal policies accordingly
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Compliance Officer in steel manufacturing or a related industry
  • Relevant audit certifications (e.g., ISO, internal audit certifications)
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and reporting skills
