The University of Dubai invites applications for a full-time faculty position in English Law to teach in the UAE/UK LLB Program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative dual-degree program in collaboration with the University of London.We seek an accomplished legal scholar with expertise in English Law to teach courses such as:Public Law Contract Law Criminal Law Legal Systems & Methods EU Law Tort Law Property Law Equity & Trusts II The teaching language is exclusively English, and instruction will focus on UK Law within the context of an international legal education. The candidate may also be required to teach on the LLM program depending on faculty needs.The role is available for immediate commencement or from January 2026, with sponsorship and a visa provided for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach courses in English Law within the UAE/UK LLB Program.
  • Engage in high-quality legal research and publish in Scopus-indexed journals.
  • Supervise student research and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning.
  • Support accreditation efforts and contribute to university service.
Job Requirements:
  • LLB from a UK institution.
  • PhD in Law with a specialization in Common Law, English Law, or a closely related field.
  • Graduate of a reputable university.
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience at a reputable institution with a UK curriculum.
  • A strong research record with publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Experience with blended learning, e-learning platforms, and curriculum development.
