Public Equities Investment Associate

- Support the ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk management process.
- Ensure that the funds meet their investment objectives.
- Support the sales process, by producing ideas/content or answering client questions.
- Help build out the systems and processes, around data and improve efficiencies of tasks, with the aim to speed up and increase accuracy.
- Monitor market trends, economic data, and portfolio positions.
- Assist in preparing investment recommendations and internal presentations.
- Participate in driving strategic projects, investment meetings, contributing insights.
- Relevant experience in investment management, investment banking, equity research, consulting - candidates with management consulting experience in Big Three firms are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in ETF fund management and/or retirement funds
- Interest in coding/data or willingness to learn
- Interest in markets and investing, with an ability to articulate investment ideas
- Exposure to equities, commodities and/or fixed income
- Progress toward CFA/CAIA designation is a plus
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Proficient in visual storytelling and data visualization, including the design of impactful slide decks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus
- High level of intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record
- Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg
