Job Category: OthersJob Description:We are currently recruiting for an IT Engineer - Security Systems to join our Systems Integration - Projects team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.Scope:As an Engineer in Systems Integration, the role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, integration, and support of IT-based security systems, including IP CCTV, access control, video management systems (VMS), servers/storage, networks, and cybersecurity-related components, focusing on protecting systems and networks from threats by implementing firewalls, antivirus, VPNs. This role ensures that all security systems operate reliably, securely, and efficiently within the client's IT infrastructure. The role involves managing the Project Engineering and installation teams, project execution, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality security solutions. Leveraging your expertise in IT security technologies and systems integration, you will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers and technical teams to deliver scalable and effective security solutions that meet their unique needs and requirements.Responsibilities:Financial
  • Closely monitor project budgets on resources and equipment to ensure no overspill.
Customer
  • Provide technical support and training for end-users and operators.
  • Coordinate with vendors for upgrades and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
  • Establish ongoing relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any issues or requirements.
  • Integrate security systems with client IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.
Process
  • Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy security solutions (firewalls, antivirus, VPNs, security network).
  • Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor systems for threats, analyze security logs, and research weaknesses.
  • Incident Response: investigate security breaches and manage the response to cyberattacks.
  • Ensure that security systems adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices and ensure regulatory certification is up to date.
  • Installation & configuration of the security systems network hardware.
  • Perform site acceptance testing (SAT) and system commissioning.
Innovation
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings on each project.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technology and recommend improvements.
Selection Criteria
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in IT-focused security systems engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting VMS, servers, and access control systems.
  • Experience working in ELV / security integration projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and standards, such as TCP/IP, LDAP, and ONVIF.
  • Experience with security systems from major vendors, such as Genetec, LenelS2, Milestone, Cisco, Allied Telesis.
  • Certification in CCNA / CCNP, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cybersecurity (CompTIA Security+, CEH) etc., is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Industry / Regulatory certifications such as SIRA and MCC, are advantageous.
  • Travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project schedules.

  • Operation systems: Windows, Linux.
