- Serve as the primary regional technical subject matter expert for the full product portfolio, providing application engineering, technical solution development, and product expertise to Sales, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on application engineering and technical sales support, including product selection, system configuration, and preparation of technical content for quotations in alignment with regional and global standards.
- Prepare, review, and support customer quotations, ensuring technical accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with approved tools, processes, and pricing structures.
- Support the Global Application Engineering team as needed by contributing regional expertise, application validation, and quotation-related technical input for cross-regional or global opportunities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regional market requirements, customer applications, regulatory constraints, and competitive landscape to support effective and compliant solutions.
- Collect, document, and communicate structured regional market and customer feedback to Global Product Management, Application Engineering, and Engineering teams to support product and portfolio decisions.
- Support regional adoption of global tools and processes, identifying gaps or improvement opportunities as the region matures.
- Contribute to the development of regional technical capabilities by supporting onboarding, training activities, and the review of application engineering quotation work.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience across Application Engineering, Technical Sales, or Product-related roles.
- Specific industry experience is strongly preferred
- Extensive experience and knowledge of rotating equipment, with a strong preference for pumps and cryogenic systems and applications.
- Proven ability to interface between technical and commercial teams.
- Proficiency in dealing with diverse customers and markets.
- Experience working in a matrix or global organization.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailed and well-organized.
- Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Competence in complex proposal preparation with the ability to review and analyze customer specifications both from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Ability to balance regional autonomy with global alignment.
- Structured thinking and ability to translate market input into actionable insights.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving role scope.
- Strong collaboration and influence skills (without direct authority).
- MS Office proficiency
- Experience w/ ERP and CRM systems is desired.
