- Assist faculty members in teaching studio and lecture courses by providing support to students in design and technical aspects.
- Provide tutorials and software support to students for project development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assist in the preparation of instructional materials.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including student advising, workshops, and events.
- Support faculty in research and creative projects, as needed.
- Maintain and oversee lab and studio spaces, ensuring students have access to the necessary tools and resources.
- Bachelor degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in Interior Design or Architecture, either in academia or industry.
- Proficiency in essential design software:
- Required: 3ds Max, Photoshop, AutoCAD
- Preferred: Rhino and/or Revit
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty and students.
- Ability to support student learning in both technical and conceptual aspects of interior design.
- Master's degree preferred
- Prior teaching or academic support experience in a university setting.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and sustainable design practices in interior design.
- Familiarity with digital fabrication and visualization techniques.
